These plume-flowered plants have ultra-handsome fern-like foliage, and stiff stems that always hold the elegant plumesaloft without any staking! And they're DEER RESISTANT!

Designing with Astilbe Plant in groups of 3 or 5 to create an interesting presentation under a canopy of shade trees, or tuck plants in between evergreen shrubbery for a bit of color and texture!Rhododendrons, azaleas, ferns, and hostas are also great companion plants because they all prefer shade and grow in a very wide range of hardiness zones!
